Preparations - Part Two

As an afterthought the idea of buying insect repellent struck us as we passed Superdrug. A quick google enlightened us to the wonders of Ross River and Dengue fevers. It was equally reassuring to note that neither has an effective treatment. Lovely.

Compression socks have also been bought. They're a bugger to put on. And take off. Should creeping gangrene start to impact the old tootsies it will be a pantomime and a half to take these off while in the middle seat on the plane.

While preparations continue we have to pay attention to current events and hope that we actually get to go on our trip. Dublin to Istanbul and Istanbul to Singapore are the vulnerable flights. Here's hoping.
